Arakan News Agency (ANA) visited International Islamic News Agency (IINA) to enhance the cooperation

On Thursday morning the delegation of Arakan News Agency (ANA) visited International Islamic News Agency (IINA) in its headquarter in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The delegation conducted special meeting with the director of the agency, Eisa Khaira Rwila. Both sides discussed the means to enhance and improve the aspects of cooperation and reviewed the shared files and agreements. Then the delegation accompanied by the director of editing Zaid Sultan Al-Bakery visited some sections of the agency.
The delegation discussed the Rohingya situation and their suffering from Myanmar authority, and how to work together in order to disseminate awareness of the Rohingya issue.
Rwila ensured the readiness of the agency to provide full support to the Rohingya issue in field of the media and technical support to the ANA.
In addition, a meeting was conducted with editors of different sections in IINA.
This visit comes as an interest of ANA to meet the administrators and employees in Arabic, English and French sections of IINA, and to view the programs of work and gain experience and exchange ideas in Media field. The delegation consisted of the director of editing of ANA Mr. Salah Abdul Shakur, Mr. Ahmad Wali, Mr. Muhammad Thakeer, Mr. Ibrahim Hafiz and Mr. Abdullah Abdul Qadir.
