ARU signed a memorandum of understanding with ERC

Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) signed a memorandum of understanding with the European Rohingya Council (ERC) in the presence of Organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC).
Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) signed the memorandum of understanding with the European Rohingya Council (ERC) for joint action and coordination between the parties with respect to Rohingya cause.
The two parties held joint meeting last Sunday to provide agreement for the conduct of cooperation in the fields of education, human rights and refugee issues all that would take the Rohingya issue forward towards the restoration of civil and human rights through legal and diplomatic means.
Memorandum was signed by President of Global Rohingya Center (GRC) Abdullah Maruf as the representative of the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) and the European Rohingya Council president Khair Al Amin, as approved by the Director of Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) Professor Waqar Uddin and Chairman of congress ARU, Dr. Tahir Mohammad and also by the General advisor union and Muslim Minority and Communities Dept. Director Mr. Talal Daous.
Abdullah Maruf said in a statement to the Arakan News Agency: “As Almighty desired the joint agreement agreed by both parties will hold workshops to determine the cooperation between the two parties and some of them have held workshops in Mecca.”
Present at the signing of the agreement were the Vice President of the Center (GRC) Muhammad Alam Yasin and a number of its staff as well as to 10 people from the staff of the ERC from several countries such as Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and others.
