ARU and GRC in Human Rights Council conference for Rohingya

The delegation of Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) and its secretariat Global Rohingya Center on Tuesday, 23rd of June, attended a conference which was held on the rights of Rohingya, in the Hall No. 8 of Human Rights Council of the United Nations office in Geneva in the presence of a number of international human rights organizations officials participated in the conference. They are as followed : ARU director general Dr. Wakar Uddin, GRC senior member Mr. Abdul Aziz Amin, Ambassador Slimane Chikh the permanent representative of OIC to United Nations, Mr. Moussa official member of Baraka City – France and Mr. Abozer Elman of Maarij Foundation.
The participants discussed how to end the Rohingya crisis and called for the United Nations, the Human Rights Council and the countries of the world to assume their responsibilities towards what is happening against the Rohingya as human rights violations increases and to exercise the necessary pressure for the decisions issued in this regard also confirm the fundamental human rights guaranteed by international conventions including the stability and citizenship. Participants in the conference called for the strengthening of the international coalition to save the Rohingya from genocide and in order to preserve their rights.
