Global Rohingya Center (GRC) implemented relief programs for Rohingya refugees in Indonesia

The Global Rohingya Center (GRC) in coordination with some humanitarian and relief organizations in Indonesia for the benefit of Rohingya refugees who remained stranded at sea for several months on rickety boats before the Indonesian government agrees to let them descent in their territory for a temporary period of time.
The GRC delegation member to Indonesia Mr. Salah Abdul Shakur said “This relief program included distribution of basic materials and some food supplies as well as some supplements and essential needs of the refugees,” adding that “this relief assistance is part of a comprehensive plan carried out by the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) to care for the refugees in coordination with official authorities in Indonesia”.

For their part, a number of refugees expressed that they are benefiting from the program and expressed their happiness in this gesture, which they described as “humanitarians”, and they come to help when they were in dire need after being under difficult circumstances and events they went through before being rescued from the hands of crashing waves in the middle of the sea.
It is noteworthy that a delegation by the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) currently inside Indonesia in order to carry out visits to the detention center of Rohingya refugees and implementation of relief programs for them.
