Global Rohingya Center expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Sudanese Government for hosting the educational academic conference for studying the situation of Rohingya students during 16-17 April 2014.
Board director of GRC said in a statement on behalf of Rohingya community and organizations ‘we thank Sudanese government for its support to the Rohingyas in field of academic education we thank the Sudanese president Omar Al Basheer for his support to the Rohingya community and dealing them as Sudanese citizens’.
And added ‘we don’t forget to thank higher education minister professor Sumiya Abu Kashwa for sponsoring and opening the conference and welcoming the GRC and ARU delegations in her office’.
And GRC also expressed its thanks to all participants from Sudanese universities in the conference and all collaborators and all who contributed for coordination and processing files of the conference.
GRC praised the Non-Sudanese Welfare Organization, Al Shaheed organization and its chairman Al Haj Majid Mohammad and Immigrants organization and its secretary general Asem Abu Uthunain for their continuous support for Rohingya students for decades.
GRC also praised Al Shaikh Al Amen Abdul Qadir Al Saeed, Khalid Abu Sin ‘Chairman of executive committee for the conference’ and his deputy Dr. Mahmood Fadhl for their great efforts.
